Gift of Life
 In 1988, in the face of an alarming infant mortality rate, Central
Alabama's community leaders, healthcare professionals, and concerned
citizens formed a public and private sector partnership called Gift of Life. For
20 years, the Gift of Life Foundation has lived up to its name by providing an efficient
and caring system of perinatal services, education,
tracking, and care coordination for pregnant women and their
babies--regardless of their ability to pay.
 Services
include: prenatal care, delivery,
postpartum care, nutrition counseling, child health services, maternal
health education, and school abstinence education.

 A
Children's Trust Fund Specialty Car Tag is available for purchase at
your local Probate Office. It's tax deductible and proceeds directly
fund community-based prevention programs like Gift of Life's
Nurse-Family Partnership Program. |
